REFRAXA ("the app") is a camera and photo-editing app published by Young Folks Consulting. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use it.
REFRAXA does not collect or share any personal data. There are no user accounts, no advertising, and no third-party tracking SDKs of any kind, and it never accesses, uploads, or shares your photos, videos, or camera. The only data it ever sends off your device is a small amount of anonymous usage analytics — described below — that cannot be tied to you personally. Everything else happens entirely on your device.
REFRAXA uses your device's camera to apply live mirror and refraction effects, and your microphone to record audio with video. All processing happens locally on your device. Photos and videos you choose to save go directly to your own Photos library — REFRAXA never uploads, transmits, or has any server to send them to.
REFRAXA stores a small amount of data locally, never transmitted anywhere:
The REFRAXA Pro unlock is processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. Apple is the merchant of record — REFRAXA never sees or stores your payment information, and no purchase data is sent to us or any third party.
To understand how REFRAXA is used — for example, how often the free weekly save limit is reached and how many people go on to unlock Pro — the app sends a small number of anonymous events to our own analytics service. Each event records only that an action happened (such as the Pro upgrade screen being shown, or a Pro purchase completing), along with a randomly generated identifier for the app installation and basic technical context (app version and operating-system version).
This data:
If your device is offline, these events simply wait on the device and are sent later. They never affect how the app works, and disabling them has no effect on any feature.
REFRAXA is a general-audience creative tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children. The anonymous usage analytics described above contain no personal information and are not used to identify or profile any individual.
If this policy ever changes, the update will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
